Arajet to connect Mexico City and Cancun with São Paulo, Brazil
Dominican airline Arajet announced on Monday new connections between Mexico City and Cancun with São Paulo (Brazil) starting on September 12, which will link the two giants of the region through the Dominican Republic as a connection point, without going through immigration or searching for luggage.
“The promise we made to Mexicans was kept: not only did we increase our daily frequency of flights to and from the Felipe Angeles Airport from Santo Domingo, but we also offer them the opportunity to connect with Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten and Jamaica in the Caribbean, and since September also with Brazil,” said Victor Pacheco Mendez, CEO and founder of Arajet.

The new connections from Mexico City will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, departing from Felipe Angeles International Airport at 9:25 a.m. and arriving in São Paulo at 3:35 a.m., and departing from São Paulo International Airport (GRU) at 5:40 a.m. and arriving in Mexico City at 3:55 p.m. Starting in November, it will also connect with Mexico on Tuesdays.
From Cancun International Airport, Arajet’s new connection will depart at 10:50 am and arrive in Sao Paulo at 3:35 am, and the return from Sao Paulo will be at 5:40 am with arrival in Cancun at 5:15 pm.
The new frequencies to and from Mexico City and Cancun, as well as connecting flights to Sao Paulo, Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten and Jamaica are available on the airline’s website.
