Avelo Airlines announced Thursday that it will open its sixth U.S. base in Las Vegas on September 7.
The airline, which has operated nonstop flights between Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport and Sonoma/Santa Rosa (Calif.) since September 2021, will also add four new nonstop-only destinations from Sin City to Bend/Redmond, Oregon; Brownsville, Texas; Dubuque, Iowa; and Eureka/Arcata, California, beginning in September.

“As the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas is a winning bet for our sixth U.S. base. We are excited about the exclusive nonstop access to Las Vegas that Avelo’s new base will offer our customers from these five communities and more to come,” said Avelo Airlines President and CEO Andrew Levy.
Las Vegas thus joins Avelo’s five existing bases at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Burbank Airport; Orlando International Airport; Wilmington/Delaware Valley Airport; Raleigh-Durham International Airport; and Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport.
