“LATAM is the airline that most connects Brazil with the world and we have been expanding our direct connections from other South American countries to Brazilian cities. The Santiago-Belo Horizonte flight is the result of this strategy, of a strengthened and efficient company, capable of investing in Brazil in a sustainable way and connected to a global network of more than 140 destinations,” says Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil Sales and Marketing Director.
In total, the new operation will have the capacity to transport directly from Chile to Belo Horizonte more than 27,000 international travelers per year, reinforcing LATAM’s commitment to Brazil. The new route will also benefit from the connection at Santiago airport with important LATAM destinations in Oceania, such as Melbourne (Australia) and Auckland (New Zealand).
