Star Alliance wins “World’s Best Airline Alliance” at the World Airline Awards 2023
Star Alliance has once again won the title of “World’s Best Airline Alliance” at this year’s Skytrax World Airline Awards. The Alliance’s famous Los Angeles City Lounge has also maintained its position as the “World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge” for the seventh consecutive year.

The skies are increasingly full of life and movement, welcoming many more travelers to experience what Star Alliance and its 26 member airlines represent,” said Star Alliance Chairman Theo Panagiotoulias.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards are known as “the Oscars of the aviation industry” because they are selected through impartial voting by international customers. In a survey conducted between September 2022 and March 2023, representing passengers of more than 100 nationalities, 20.23 million votes were counted this year. In addition, the survey was conducted in six major international languages.
