Turkish Airlines will fly between Istanbul (Turkey) and Detroit (USA) from November 15, 2023, the airline shows on its website.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights will take off from Istanbul at 15:45, arriving in Detroit at 18:50 (local time). From the state of Michigan they will depart at 21:35, landing in Turkey’s largest city at 15:35 the following day (local time).
Detroit will thus become the thirteenth destination operated by the airline in the United States, after Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Newark, New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C.
