As of today, Medellin and San Andres are connected directly. With the inauguration of this route, Avianca continues to strengthen its point-to-point network with the objective of uniting the regions of Colombia.
The airline will operate three weekly frequencies in A320 family aircraft with capacity for up to 180 passengers, with a total offer of around 1,000 weekly seats that will provide more connectivity opportunities for Colombians.

“The objective of connecting the regions of Colombia and the world continues, with the start of the route Medellin – San Andres – Medellin, we seek to contribute to the economy and strengthening tourism in these destinations. Today the airline operates more than 20 direct routes from Medellín, connecting it with national and international destinations. Here we are ready to continue contributing to the development of tourism and the aviation industry in the country,” said David Alemán, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia and South America.
