China Airlines inaugurated last Wednesday the new route between Taipei and Prague (Czech Republic), its sixth non-stop route to European destinations, after Amsterdam (Netherlands), Frankfurt (Germany), Vienna (Austria), London (United Kingdom) and Rome (Italy).
The route will operate two weekly frequencies on Airbus A350 aircraft.

The airline currently operates five weekly flights on the Taipei-Vienna route, so travelers can enjoy more flexibility in their itineraries and opt to arrive or depart via Vienna or Prague with one scheduled flight per day.
China Airlines is the only carrier offering non-stop flights between Taiwan and the Czech Republic. The new route will promote bilateral business, trade and tourism. Strong interest is also expected from the Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese transit market, allowing more Asian travelers to pass through Taiwan on their way to and from the Czech Republic and thus enhancing the island’s position as a regional transit hub.
