Last Saturday, Aerolíneas Argentinas carried 45,893 passengers in a single day, thus setting a record for the company. With this new mark, the company surpasses the 45,769 that flew on November 9, 2018 when, due to a measure of force, flights and passengers were accumulated from two days of operation.
In turn, for the period from July 13 to July 31, the company will transport, on average, more than 42,000 passengers per day. That is to say, a total of 800,000 passengers during the two weeks of winter vacations. In this way and according to projections, it will far exceed the July 2019 performance.

“This performance is not a coincidence or a product of chance: we have been working hard on the growth of the network and the offer. Today we have an airline that flies more, better and more efficiently. This can be seen in the passenger numbers, in the number of frequencies, destinations and in the economic and financial results”, explained Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
For this winter vacations, the company has arranged an expanded offer with up to 16% more seats than in 2019 and more than 320 average takeoffs each day.
The 10 most chosen destinations by passengers for the high winter season are: Bariloche, Córdoba, Mendoza, Ushuaia, Iguazú, Salta, San Pablo, Neuquén, Tucumán and Comodoro Rivadavia. El Calafate, Mar del Plata, San Martín de Los Andes and Santiago de Chile also stand out.
