Qatar Airways inaugurated flights between Doha and Lyon on Monday, expanding the airline’s presence in France while increasing its global network of more than 160 destinations.
The new route will operate four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), in Boeing 787-8 aircraft with capacity for 254 passengers, 22 in Business Class and 232 in Economy Class.

Lyon becomes Qatar Airways’ third destination in France, after Paris and Nice.
“I am delighted to announce the launch of Qatar Airways’ inaugural flight to the renowned French city of Lyon. We look forward to welcoming French and European passengers traveling through our hub, Hamad International Airport, for seamless and captivating travel to more than 160 global destinations,” commented Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker.
