Delta Air Lines will expand its flight schedule to China later this year, offering 10 weekly flights to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport from its Seattle and Detroit bases.
Beginning October 29, the airline will operate daily flights to China’s most populous city on Airbus A330-900 aircraft from Seattle and three times a week on A350-900 aircraft from Detroit.

From March 2024, Delta will also resume service to Shanghai four times a week from its Los Angeles hub, a route it last operated in February 2020.
“As demand continues to increase and the busy travel season to the Asia-Pacific region begins, the Delta team is ready to welcome more travelers to the region this winter by providing our award-winning customer service on every trip,” said Jeff Moomaw, Delta Vice President – Asia-Pacific.
Customers flying with Delta will be able to conveniently connect to many other cities in China thanks to the carrier’s partnership with China Eastern Airlines. Together, the airlines operate 260 codeshare flights a week.
