EasyJet announced Tuesday a new route to the Egyptian capital Cairo from London Luton Airport, which will take off for the first time this winter and operate year-round.
The flights, which will start on October 31, 2023, will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, offering a direct connection to travelers from the United Kingdom.

This makes Cairo the 157th destination in easyJet’s extensive network covering Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The airline currently operates to the Egyptian cities of Sharm-el-Sheikh and Hurghada.
“We are delighted to launch flights for the first time to Cairo, which further strengthens our unrivalled short-haul network from the UK and continues to demonstrate our confidence in the strength of travel demand,” commented Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager.
