JetBlue inaugurated Tuesday a new nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Amsterdam (Netherlands), its third destination in Europe, after London and Paris.
“JetBlue’s transatlantic service has proven to lower fares and benefit customers in markets that have suffered for decades from high legacy airline fares,” said Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s chief executive officer. “We look forward to introducing our award-winning Mint and core service to business and leisure customers traveling to and from Amsterdam.”

The flights will operate daily on Airbus A321LR aircraft with 24 Mint Suite seats, 114 in Economy.
To celebrate this new route, the airline is offering special fares for travelers originating in the U.S. starting at €499 (roundtrip) in the Main Cabin and from €2,199 in Premium Mint. Travelers originating in the Netherlands can enjoy fares from €399 and €1,599.
Flights between Boston and Amsterdam will begin on September 20.
