Passengers of the Spanish airline LEVEL can now enjoy a free messaging service on their planes. In this way, and with the aim of offering more accessible connectivity, travelers can now keep in touch with their personal circle throughout the flight via the airplane’s wifi network.
With this initiative, LEVEL offers its customers a 100% connected fleet and demonstrates that it is continuously adapting to the needs of an increasingly hyper-connected world. This new feature is available during the entire flight time, so that people on board can communicate by messaging at all times: for example, the most global instant messaging application, WhatsApp, can now be used free of charge on board the airline.

To access this service, the only requirement is to subscribe to LEVEL’s newsletter with an e-mail address. In addition to providing access to the free messaging service, this subscription will also allow the passenger to be informed of the company’s latest news and the most competitive prices it offers.
In addition to the new courier service, LEVEL will continue to offer wifi packages starting at €5.99 for those who want more comprehensive in-flight Internet access.
“By incorporating the in-flight messaging service free of charge, we enable all our customers to do something as basic as communicating with people in their personal circle during a long-haul flight. We want to provide maximum comfort to our passengers, and since August 1, we have also been doing so with this free wifi service,” said Joan Martinez, Head of Customer Experience at LEVEL.
