“Air Canada experienced a tremendous uptick in international flights last summer, especially on transatlantic flights, and we expect Europe to remain popular next year,” said Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President, Revenue and Network Planning. “The centerpiece of today’s announcement is our new Montreal-Madrid flight. This will be the only year-round service between Montreal and the Spanish capital, complementing our Toronto-Madrid flights.”
With 51 routes to 30 cities in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and India, Air Canada will be Canada’s leading cross-Atlantic carrier by summer 2024.
