Dominican Arajet officially inaugurated its operations in Brazil with direct flights between Santo Domingo and Sao Paulo, becoming the airline’s 22nd destination.
The route will initially operate three weekly frequencies in Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with capacity for 185 passengers.

Flavia Pavie, General Counser & and Chief Compliance Officer of Arajet, expressed that this new route opens the opportunity for Dominicans to get to know and explore the southern cone of America with the lowest fares in the market and with a fleet of new and modern aircrafts.
“Today Arajet begins a new chapter in national aviation with this connectivity between the Dominican Republic and Brazil, which will increase tourist arrivals, strengthen commercial relations between these countries and grow as a hub connecting the continent,” said Pavie.
Sao Paulo is the first of the new destinations Arajet will be opening in the coming weeks, which will include Toronto, Montreal, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and direct flights between Santiago de los Caballeros and Bogota.
