Arajet celebrated in style its first anniversary of operations together with Boeing, with a series of simultaneous festive events, where they reported that they are ready to fly to the United States and are projected to mobilize 1.5 million passengers by 2024.
Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, thanked his main investors Bain Capital and Griffin Capital Management, as well as the support received by Boeing Company “Thank you Boeing for going hand in hand with us at every step providing greater operational safety and experience that has led us to be the Latin American airline with the most efficient fleet of aircraft in the market”.

Likewise, Pacheco affirmed that they are ready to fly to the United States. “We are only waiting for the U.S. to respond to the first three routes we have requested, and we believe we are very close to achieving the open skies treaty between the Dominican Republic and the United States, which would expand to 17 new destinations in that country.
He also highlighted that the airline has transported more than 360 thousand passengers in the first 12 months to the 22 destinations where it operates and that by 2024 it is already projecting to fly around 1.5 million passengers, with the start of operations in Toronto and Montreal in Canada, Sao Paulo in Brazil and Santiago in Chile.
The commemoration of Arajet’s first anniversary was celebrated over the weekend, with different activities in which hundreds of people attended and were rewarded with airline tickets, discounts and other gifts.
