LATAM is recognized by APEX with highest rating “Five Star Global Airline”

For the second consecutive year, LATAM Group was recognized with the highest rating in the global airline category, obtaining the “Five Star Global Airline” in the APEX 2024 Ranking, the first official airline ratings program based solely on passenger comments and evaluations.

This ranking is compiled based on passenger data, comments and ratings collected through APEX’s partnership with TripIt® from Concur®, the world’s top-rated travel management application. For this edition, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers from more than 600 airlines.

“We take this recognition with responsibility and affirming our commitment to the experience of each of our customers. For us it is a great honor to receive the APEX 5-star category for the second consecutive year,” said Paulo Miranda, vice president of Customers Latam Airlines Group.

To give a Four or Five Star rating, passengers evaluate several aspects of the airline, such as seat comfort, cabin service, dining, in-flight entertainment and WiFi connection.

In the case of LATAM, it stands out for its world class, with renovated cabins with ergonomic seats, which privilege comfort and a variety of possibilities for passengers, as well as in-flight entertainment, with the best premieres and exclusive content on platforms such as HBO MAX, Tik Tok and LinkedIn learning, among others. In addition, connectivity stands out, with the ongoing implementation of free Wi-Fi.

Emphasis is also placed on the in-flight gastronomic proposal, with a complimentary service on domestic routes and a unique recipe program for long-haul flights, which emphasizes the cultural-gastronomic heritage of South America, with emerging female chefs representing regional cuisines on board.

And finally, personalized service, based on the constant analysis of passenger preferences, to generate segmented actions that improve travel and the attention and service of its team of professionals, both on board and on land, which has resulted in teams that are prepared and continuously and actively listen to customers.
