LATAM Brazil started this Saturday its flights between São Paulo and Johannesburg (South Africa), in which it expects to transport around 75,000 passengers a year between the two countries.
“LATAM has an unquestionable commitment to Brazil and once again connects this country with Africa. In addition to the direct São Paulo-Johannesburg flight, through our partners we can take our passengers directly to 47 other destinations on the African continent,” explains Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Brazil.

Through LATAM’s interline agreements with partner companies in South Africa, the São Paulo-Johannesburg route is already connected with flights to countries such as Angola, Mozambique, Kenya, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Congo, Madagascar, Lesotho, Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal, Gabon, Malawi, Ivory Coast, among others.
The route will operate three times a week on Boeing 787-9 aircraft with capacity for 300 passengers (30 in Premium Business, 57 in Premium Economy and 213 in Economy).
