United Airlines delayed all flights in the United States for more than an hour due to a “technological problem,” according to an alert from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The alert indicates that the airline requested that all flights remain at their departure airports – known as a ground stop – until 2 p.m. Tuesday.

In an update, the FAA alert said the “ground stop was canceled.”

It lasted just over an hour and delayed hundreds of flights. But tracking site FlightAware shows only 14 United flights were canceled Tuesday, CNN reported.

United Airlines posted on social media: “A solution to the technology issue has been identified and flights have resumed. We are working with affected customers to help them reach their destinations as soon as possible.”
