Arajet launches training program for Dominican pilots together with Boeing
Arajet announced its scholarship program for Cadet Pilots as part of its social responsibility actions to promote the development of local aviation talent among Dominican aviators.
The airline informed that this is an initiative that will use Boeing’s training tools and services to offer world-class educational opportunities, contribute to the growth of the aviation sector in the Dominican Republic and make the country the preferred hub in the Caribbean.
They indicated that in the first stage they will be offering 10 scholarships for the initial course in the Dominican Republic with a theoretical module where the two most outstanding cadets will have the opportunity to be trained in the Boeing flight simulator in the city of Miami and apply to join the airline as first officers.

“For Arajet it is a commitment to develop Dominican aviation in all aspects, and that includes having the best pilots born in our land with the necessary training to be world-class professionals,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.
The airline explained that candidates interested in applying must meet the requirements of being a Dominican citizen, be of legal age, hold a commercial pilot’s license, have a minimum of 250 hours of flight experience, with the addition of twin-engine or multi-engine aircraft, have an American visa and have a minimum level 4 of English (ICAO).
Applications will be open from October 6 through October 13 and the eligibility criteria and application process through the official Arajet.com website, specifically in the “Work for Arajet” section.
