British Airways to resume flights to Abu Dhabi in 2024

British Airways announced Thursday that it will resume flights to Abu Dhabi in 2024 after a four-year hiatus.

The route, which will be available for booking from today, will begin operating on April 20 and will offer daily flights to the UAE capital year-round from London-Heathrow.

To celebrate the launch, British Airways is offering return fares from £449 economy and £1,999 business class, available for booking by November 12, 2023.

The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 aircraft and will boost connectivity to the United Arab Emirates by joining the airline’s existing flights to Dubai, where it operates up to three frequencies a day from Heathrow.

“Abu Dhabi is a unique destination that returns to our network with great satisfaction. With a mix of beach, city and desert, it has everything our customers look for in a trip to the Middle East, and we look forward to welcoming them back on board as we grow our presence in the UAE,” commented Neil Chernoff, British Airways Network and Alliances Director.
