These were most punctual Latin American airlines in September
Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on the punctuality performance of Latin American airlines in September 2023, where Avianca and Copa Airlines tied for first place, with 89.88% of their flights on time, although the Colombian company leads the table by the difference of flights operated: 17,045 and 9,734, respectively.
Let us recall that the Panamanian airline has been the most punctual in the region in the first eight months of the year.
Third place went to Brazil’s AZUL with 85.71%, and fourth to LATAM Airlines with 84.54%.

In fifth place was Caribbean Airlines with 83.55% and sixth place went to Aerolíneas Argentinas with 79.30%.
The list is completed by Brazil’s GOL with 78.51%, Aeroméxico with 76.77% and Sky Airline with 73.99%.
Avianca was also voted the most punctual airline in the “Global Airlines” category for the ninth month of the year.

North America: Delta with 86.40%.
Europe: Norwegian Air with 87.98%.
Asia-Pacific: Thai AirAsia with 87.52%.
Middle East and Africa: Oman Air with 94.02%.
