Dominican Arajet inaugurated this Tuesday its new direct route between Santo Domingo and Buenos Aires, Argentina, becoming the airline’s 23rd destination.
The new route, which has an approximate duration of 8 hours, will operate three times a week; departing from Santo Domingo on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 17:55 and arriving in Buenos Aires at 03:05 the following day (local time). It will take off from Ezeiza Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 04:25, landing in the Dominican capital at 11:45 (local time).
In addition, passengers will be able to connect to Montreal, Toronto, Mexico City, Cancun, Guatemala City, San Jose, Costa Rica, San Salvador and several Caribbean destinations through the new mainland hub located in Santo Domingo.

Carlos Mesa, Arajet’s Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, highlighted the importance of Argentina for the Dominican Republic as one of the top 5 countries of origin of tourists.
“Now Argentines will be connected to the Caribbean better than ever; for the first time we will have a direct flight between our two capital cities; a demonstration that Arajet has kept its word to democratize the skies of the region by linking the entire continent at the best prices and with the best experience and quality of our in-flight services” Mesa stated.
Arajet has a network of 23 destinations in 16 countries and more than 150 connections in North, Central and South America. The airline expects to transport more than 7 million passengers in the next 5 years and consolidate a robust hub in Santo Domingo.
