Avianca requests authorization to operate three new international routes
In order to offer more and more direct operations from the regions, avianca has requested authorization from the Colombian Civil Aeronautics Authority to operate three new international routes: San Andres – Guayaquil – San Andres, Medellin – Lima – Medellin, Medellin – Santiago de Chile – Medellin.
The application indicates that the airline plans to operate 7 weekly frequencies on each route on Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.
The airline will close 2023 with 26 new routes launched, eight new destinations and an offer of 145 routes connecting to 74 destinations in 24 countries, according to David Alemán, Sales Director of Avianca South America and Colombia.
