LATAM Airlines and Audi of Brazil announced Thursday the launch of an unprecedented service in South America for the most loyal passengers flying with the company at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo. Starting December 4, LATAM PASS Black Signature customers will have access to a shuttle service at the remote gates of the São Paulo airport with all-electric vehicles from the German manufacturer.
The news was announced at a joint event between the brands at LATAM’s hangar at São Paulo airport, where the Audi Q8 e-tron and the iconic Audi S4 were on display.
From the beginning of 2023, the company will offer executive vans for Black Signature customers on the route between the remote boarding gates of Congonhas and the plane. The service will now be provided with Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback and e-tron S Sportback vehicles, 100% electric models of the brand of the four rings, which has been investing heavily in products, services and infrastructure suitable for the advancement of electric mobility in the country.

According to Paulo Miranda, LATAM Airlines Group Vice President of Customers, the new service positions LATAM at a higher level of experience for its most loyal passengers. “Constantly improving our customers’ experience is our priority, as is our focus on sustainability. This alliance represents a real leap in these agendas by positioning LATAM as the only airline in South America to offer this service to its most frequent customers, in addition to contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions through the use of electric vehicles.”
“Offering a modern, emission-free mobility alternative is a global objective for Audi and we are delighted to offer the electric vehicle experience to loyal LATAM customers,” says Daniel Rojas, CEO and President of Audi do Brasil.
How will the new service work?
The new service will have five 100% electric Audi e-tron vehicles, available every day of the week, from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Upon presenting themselves at one of the remote boarding gates at Congonhas (gates 13 to 22), LATAM Pass Black Signature customers will be directed to the transfer by an employee from the company’s Special Services team. Each vehicle can carry up to 3 passengers, in addition to the driver, and will drop off the customer at the aircraft gate.
What is a LATAM Pass Black Signature customer?
Black Signature is one of the six categories of LATAM Pass, the official loyalty program of LATAM Airlines. By registering, customers begin to accumulate points and have access to more benefits with each flight they take with the company. This category is the most advanced and demonstrates customer loyalty to the airline. In return, the company grants a series of benefits, such as cabin upgrades, access to LATAM VIP lounges, preferential check-in and boarding, exclusive service and, now, private transfers with Audi vehicles at the Congonhas remote boarding.
New benefits for LATAM Pass customers
In addition to announcing the partnership with Audi of Brazil, the event in Congonhas was also marked by the announcement of new benefits for LATAM Pass customers, among which stand out:
POINTS + CASH: the possibility of paying with cash the missing amount in points to redeem tickets to a certain destination.
RETROACTIVE POINTS: New LATAM Pass members will be able to request retroactive points for trips made in the last 12 months.
INTERNET ACCESS: LATAM Pass Gold, Gold Plus, Platinum, Black and Black Signature customers will have access to free Internet browsing.
DOUBLE POINTS: Double points accrual for flights between Brazil and the United States issued between October 17 and November 30, 2023, and flown through May 31, 2024.
