Finnair announced Tuesday that it will resume flights between Helsinki and Nagoya (Japan) from May 30, 2024.
“We are delighted to resume our connection to Nagoya, where we were flying before the pandemic. We already fly to Tokyo Haneda and Narita, as well as Osaka. By the 2024 summer season, we will have a total of twenty weekly frequencies to Japan,” said Ole Orvér, Finnair’s chief commercial officer.
“We will also have a very attractive leisure offer to popular holiday destinations for the 2024 winter season,” Orvér said.

From October 2024, the airline will start scheduled flights to three of its former charter destinations: Faro (Portugal), Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (Spain).
Finnair will also operate two popular widebody destinations: Dubai on Airbus A330s and Las Palmas with the Airbus A350.
The airline will add more flights for the upcoming winter season to Manchester (five additional weekly frequencies), Dublin and Edinburgh (two more weekly frequencies).
In Iceland, Finnair will add three weekly frequencies to Reykjavik.
