The flights will take off from Zurich directly to Bogota. The aircraft will then take off for Cartagena, before returning to the Swiss city.

“Colombia is very popular with Swiss tourists. Our flights will bring about 520 visitors per week to Colombia in the first season, which will have an economic impact of between US$30 million and US$35 million per year. We expect the number of passengers to increase in the coming years,” commented Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss.
