“This route represents Wingo’s ninth route in Medellín; this year we have focused on offering low-cost domestic beach destinations such as Cartagena and Santa Marta. From this city, where we have two of our aircraft based, we already offer 25% of our routes, which shows its importance for us and for our network,” said Jorge Jimenez, Wingo’s Vice President of Commercial and Planning.

With the launch of this new route, Wingo now has nine destinations served from Medellin, where it offers direct flights to Panama, Cancun, Aruba, Havana, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Bogota, Cartagena and now Santa Marta.
