Thanks to this agreement, effective starting January 24, ITA Airways and All Nippon Airways travelers will be able to fly to their desired destination with a single ticket, checking in at the departure airport and collecting their luggage at the final destination airport.

ITA Airways will add its code on 5 domestic Japanese destinations (Sapporo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Okinawa and Itami), while All Nippon Airways will apply its code on ITA Airways’ flights between Tokyo and Rome as well as on 5 destinations in Italy in connection with Rome Fiumicino Airport (Bologna, Venice, Turin, Florence, Naples).

The partnership with All Nippon Airways is ITA Airways’ 34th codeshare agreement; a result achieved in just over two years since the company’s inception.
