Wingo inaugurated this Tuesday its new direct connection between Medellin (Colombia) and Caracas (Venezuela), its ninth destination operated from José María Córdova, after Panama, Cancun, Aruba, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Bogota, Cartagena and Santa Marta.
The route will have three flights a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. In total, the airline will make available to travelers nearly 4,500 seats per month between the two routes.

Tickets are available with promotional introductory fares starting at USD 99 each way, including one personal item and one 23 kg suitcase.
“For Wingo it is an honor to be the first operator to start offering a direct connection between Medellín and Caracas, as we are aware of the need to expand mobility alternatives for citizens between these territories. This flight also represents a new expansion effort for Wingo in the market, particularly from Medellín, where we already have 25% of our route network,” said Eduardo Lombana, CEO of Wingo.
With the launch of this new route, Medellin and Antioquia regain direct connectivity with Venezuela, specifically with Maiquetia Airport, which serves Caracas.
