Avianca will suspend its non-stop flights between San José, Costa Rica and Caracas (Venezuela) as of February 28, according to the airline’s website.
The route, which began on December 16, 2023, was reportedly suspended due to low demand.

As of February 29, passengers wishing to fly with avianca between Costa Rica and Venezuela will be able to do so with a stopover in Bogota.
