Emirates has taken the final step in restoring its capacity in Australia by announcing its return to Adelaide from October 28, 2024.
Operating daily on Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, which have 38 Business Class seats and 264 Economy Class seats, the service between Dubai and Adelaide will offer more than 4,200 seats per week.

By December 1, when Emirates will also reinstate its second daily service to Perth, the airline will offer 77 weekly flights with the capacity to carry 68,000 passengers a week to and from Australia, returning to its pre-pandemic capacity.
“Emirates’ return to Adelaide has been long awaited by passengers and the industry for some time,” said Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President for Australia.
