Avelo Airlines announced Wednesday a new seasonal route between Orlando and Miami, which will operate from June 7 to August 18, making it the only low-cost carrier to offer nonstop flights between Central Florida and Miami.
The new route will operate two weekly frequencies (Fridays and Sundays) with Boeing 737 aircraft and fares starting at US$46 one way.

“We’re excited to announce exclusive nonstop service to Miami. Our MCO base continues to be an exciting platform for growth for Avelo as we add another exciting destination for Orlando-area residents”, Avelo Airlines Chairman and CEO Andrew Levy said.
Today, Avelo Airlines serves 52 destinations in 23 U.S. states and Puerto Rico.
