With this announcement, the airline expands its presence in Colombia from Lima, adding Pereira as its fourth destination in the country, along with Medellín, Cartagena and Cúcuta.
“Our expansion in South America does not stop, offering in this opportunity a new and attractive tourist route, but we are also sure that this new route will be an opportunity to motivate greater commercial and economic exchange between both sister countries, while allowing us to strengthen our presence in a market like Colombia,” said Francesca Luna, General Manager of JetSMART in Peru.
As part of the launch of the new route to Pereira, the airline announced that this announcement comes hand in hand with the arrival of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft, bringing its fleet to eight aircraft in Peru.
