Ryanair carried 13.6 million passengers in March, up 8%.

Ryanair said Wednesday that it carried 13.6 million passengers in March, up 8% from the same month last year.

The airline said it operated more than 77,000 flights during the third month of the year, with an occupancy factor of 93%, unchanged from the same period in 2023.

In the twelve months to February, the airline carried 183.7 million passengers, 9% more than in the previous period, along with a one percentage point increase in the occupancy factor to 94%.

Ryanair expects to carry between 198 million and 200 million passengers in the next fiscal year, which begins in April, as it downgrades its growth forecasts after reducing its summer flight schedule due to delays in aircraft deliveries by Boeing.
