Representatives of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the Venezuelan Civil Aeronautics (INAC) signed agreements in Beijing for the activation of commercial flights between both countries.
These operations will begin in the next few months and will be carried out by the Venezuelan state-owned airline Conviasa.

“The alliance between Venezuela and the Asian giant will facilitate connectivity between these states, allowing passengers to enjoy a quality and safe service,” said the Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation.
In July 2022, Conviasa inaugurated a route between Caracas and Guangzhou, with a stopover in Iran, but currently neither country is listed as an international destination on the airline’s website.
