Volotea announced wednesday that it has put on sale a new route that will connect the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport with Ancona (Italy) from November 8.
This connection, which will offer 60 flights with more than 9,300 seats, will operate two flights a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

“We are very pleased to expand our international network from Barcelona and offer new routes for the city. Ancona will be our fourth connection to Italy from Barcelona. We believe it is very good news to be able to expand the number of non-stop routes to other European cities so that Barcelona residents have more travel options,” commented Gabriel Schmilovich, Volotea’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Volotea thus adds this new route to the ten it already operates from Barcelona to France (Brest – new in 2024, Strasbourg, Lille, Marseille and Nantes), Italy (Cagliari, Olbia and Verona), and Spain (Asturias and Murcia).
