Air Europa will increase to more than 8.5 million the number of seats available during the summer season for travel to all its destinations in Spain, the rest of Europe, America and North Africa. This figure represents an increase of 4% compared to last summer and is accompanied by the reactivation and inauguration of routes to top destinations for tourism.

On June 21, it will resume flights to Venice, where the company will provide more than 140,000 seats from Madrid. Also, on June 27, the route to Santiago de los Caballeros, in the Dominican Republic, will be launched with two weekly frequencies. Air Europa, which already operates regular flights to Punta Cana and Santo Domingo, thus reinforces its offer to the Caribbean country, where it is the main reference for the island’s connectivity with Europe.

Until October, Air Europa will offer nearly 50,000 tickets to Tunis and Marrakech. Flights to destinations on the European continent this summer will be around 2.5 million seats, including, along with Venice, the reactivation of connections to Athens. Frequencies to Caracas and Asunción have also been increased to five flights a week, and to six flights a week to Medellín and Panama from the Madrid-Barajas hub.

As in previous summers, activity in the domestic market will again be strong. To meet the high demand, the airline will increase supply by 5% to nearly 1.8 million seats for flights within Spain.
