Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance in April 2024, where Aeromexico ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, with 88.83% of its flights on time.
In Latin America, Panama’s Copa Airlines once again ranked first with 90.31%, followed by Caribbean Airlines with 90.11%, Brazil’s GOL with 88.88%, Aeromexico with 88.83% and LATAM Airlines with 86.61%.
In North America, Delta Air Lines was the most punctual with 85.73%, second place went to WestJet with 82.70% and in third place Spirit Airlines with 82.66%.
In Europe, Iberia Express ranked first with 89.89%, followed by Austrian Airlines with 88.40% and LOT Polish Airlines with 87.26%.
In Asia-Pacific, first place went to Japan Airlines with 88.17%, second to Japan’s ANA with 87.21% and third to AirAsia with 85.48%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Oman Air was first with 88.72%, Kuwait Airways second with 88.22% and Royal Jordanian third with 87.16%.
