Air Europa resumed its summer flights between Madrid and Athens on Monday, offering 90% more seats to the Greek capital than in the 2023 summer season.
The route, which will be available until the end of September, will have one daily flight and will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. During this period, the airline will operate more than 180 flights, offering close to 33,400 seats.

This significant increase responds to the growing demand from travelers to Athens, a major tourist destination.
In addition to the relaunch of this route, Air Europa strengthens its global flight offer for this summer season, exceeding 8.5 million seats. Highlights include the activation of destinations such as Venice, this Friday; Tunis and Marrakech in North Africa, and the new route to Santiago de los Caballeros, in the Dominican Republic, which will be inaugurated on June 27.
