Air France to fly to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Air France continues to diversify its long-haul network for the 2024-2025 winter schedule by announcing a new route connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), with a stopover in Zanzibar, starting November 18, 2024.

The route will operate three flights per week using Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with 34 seats in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 266 in Economy.

This Paris-Zanzibar-Kilimanjaro route will replace the Paris-Zanzibar-Dar Es Salam route previously operated by Air France.

Dar Es Salaam will continue to be accessible via Amsterdam, with KLM flights to the Tanzanian capital 6 times a week.

Known as the Roof of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro is the continent’s highest mountain. It has three main volcanic peaks: Mawenzi, Kibo and Shira, and offers a wide range of itineraries for hikers. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kilimanjaro National Park is also the ideal starting point for a safari in Kenya or Tanzania.
