LATAM announces new route between Curitiba and Lima

LATAM Airlines announced Tuesday that it will begin operating a new route connecting Curitiba with Lima three times a week starting October 28.

Flights will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays aboard Airbus A320 family aircraft, with capacity for 174 passengers.

The airline expects to carry up to 43,000 passengers a year on its new Brazil-Peru operation, which already has scheduled flights between São Paulo-Lima, Rio de Janeiro-Lima and Brasilia-Lima.

“With this new flight, Curitiba will be a new regional connectivity alternative, as it will be able to link passengers from the southern region of Brazil not only with Peru, but also with North America and the Caribbean,” commented Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director.
