Irish low-cost airline Ryanair reported Wednesday that it carried 18.9 million passengers in May 2024, 11% more than the same month last year, and equaling the monthly record set in August 2023.
The occupancy rate rose 1% last month compared to May 2023, to 95%, and operated a total of 105,000 flights.

In the last twelve months through May, the airline carried 186.9 million passengers, up 9% from the previous period.
Ryanair closed the month of May with 303 aircraft in its fleet: 205 B737-800s and 98 B737-8200 “Gamechangers”.
