TAP Air Portugal announced Friday that it will fly to Florianópolis from Lisbon starting September 3, 2024, its twelfth destination in Brazil.
The airline will offer three weekly flights on this route (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), which will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft with capacity for 269 passengers: 25 in Business Class and 244 in Economy Class.
Tickets are now on sale with prices starting at 599 euros round trip, all taxes included.

“An increase in supply to our largest market, which is Brazil, is something normal and desired by us. With this new route, TAP reinforces its commitment to continue investing to be the European airline of choice for Brazilian customers,” said Luís Rodrigues, CEO of TAP.
During the European summer, TAP offers 95 weekly flights to Brazil, an average of more than 13 flights per day.
The company flies non-stop to São Paulo, Río de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador and Florianópolis from Lisbon, as well as connecting Oporto with São Paulo and Río de Janeiro.
