After 20 years, Avianca resumes flights between Bogota and Paris

Avianca resumed on Wednesday its non-stop flights between Bogota and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, becoming its fourth destination in Europe after Madrid, Barcelona and London.

The route will initially operate three weekly frequencies (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), which will increase to five starting July 15 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday), using Boeing 787-8 aircraft with capacity for 250 passengers: 28 in Business Class and 222 in Economy.

Flights will depart Bogota at 13:25, arriving in Paris at 06:40 the following day (local time). From the French capital they will take off at 08:40, landing at El Dorado Airport at 12:40 (local time).

“20 years after having flown between Bogota and Paris, and thanks to the articulated work with governments, authorities and airports in Colombia and France, we are very proud to once again bring Latin America closer to one of the main tourist destinations in Europe, which joins the cities we already reach: Madrid, Barcelona and London,” said Frederico Pedreira, CEO and President of Avianca.
