Alaska Airlines launches routes to two Mexican destinations from Los Angeles

Alaska Airlines announced the expansion of its international network with two new destinations in Mexico starting this winter.

The airline will offer up to 3 weekly frequencies between Los Angeles and La Paz (Baja California Sur) starting November 28, and a daily flight on the Los Angeles-Monterrey route starting February 13, 2025.

Both routes will be operated with Embraer 175 aircraft with capacity for 76 passengers: 12 in First Class, 12 in Premium and 52 in Economy.

We look forward to continuing to serve as the carrier of choice from the West Coast, especially as we prepare to start service to these popular destinations in Mexico,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning at Alaska Airlines.
