LATAM Airlines Brazil has just taken delivery of the 150th aircraft in its fleet, an Airbus A321neo. In 2023, 15 of the 17 new aircraft received directly from the factory by the group were destined for the Brazilian subsidiary, which is expected to grow by 8% to 10% by 2024.
“More aircraft means more seats. We were looking forward to adding new aircraft to the fleet this year, as this will allow more people to have access to air transportation in this country. LATAM’s fleet today is the newest and most modern in Brazil, with the most advanced technologies in safety, efficiency and comfort,” said Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Brazil.

The Airbus A321neo (224-passenger capacity), which consumes 20% less fuel than previous models, emits 20% less CO2 and produces 50% less noise.
The 15 new aircraft received by LATAM Brazil during 2023 correspond to its first 7 Airbus A321neo and 8 new A320neo. This year, it took delivery of another 7 A321neo aircraft. LATAM’s Brazilian subsidiary’s fleet now totals 150 aircraft with an average age of 10.5 years.
The airline currently operates the largest air network in its history in Brazil, with flights to more than 50 airports throughout the country.
