Air Canada announced Wednesday that it will resume seasonal nonstop flights between Ottawa and London-Heathrow beginning March 31, 2025.
The route, which will be available until October 25, 2025, will operate four times a week (Monday, Thursday, Wednesday and Saturday) on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with three cabins: Air Canada Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy.

“We are very pleased to solidify Air Canada’s leadership serving our country’s capital with the resumption of trans-Atlantic services beginning next spring,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President – Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada.
Air Canada’s resumption of this route follows its recent announcement to significantly expand services from Ottawa to points across the country and sun and leisure destinations this winter.
As Air Canada will operate up to 229 weekly flights to and from Ottawa next year across a range of regional, domestic, international and transborder flights, the carrier has designated Ottawa as a test location for trialing and refining new customer service initiatives designed to improve the customer journey.
