Arajet reported this Monday that during the month of July, it transported more than 120,000 passengers, the first time in history that a Dominican airline has managed to break the 100,000 passenger barrier in a month.
According to the report of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Arajet represented 79% of all passengers that had movements on Dominican airlines in the different airports of the country.

Official JAC figures indicate that Arajet transported a total of 90,433 passengers in or out of the Dominican Republic during the month of July. To this number, the airline adds some 30,000 passengers who entered in transit through the Las Americas International Airport to make a connection to their final destination.
Arajet had the highest passenger movement in its history, surpassing June 2024 figures by more than 20 thousand passengers, which had been the best month to date.
The airline assured that these figures reaffirm the company’s commitment to continue catapulting the Dominican Republic in the international aviation industry and solidify the country’s position as the new Air Hub of the American continent. They also indicated that they expect to end the year with approximately 1.2 million passengers transported.
