Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for the month of August 2024, where Aeromexico ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, with 86.54% of its flights on time.
In Latin America, Panama’s Copa Airlines ranked first with 90.65%, followed by Aeromexico with 86.54%, GOL with 85.41%, Avianca with 83.19% and Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras with 83.06%.
In North America, Delta Air Lines was the most punctual with 80.90%, second place went to United Airlines with 78.38% and in third place Southwest Airlines with 78.17%.

In Europe, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) ranked first with 83.53%, followed by Iberia Express with 83.43% and Icelandair with 82.35%.
In Asia-Pacific, first place went to Thai AirAsia with 78.98%, second to Vietnam Airlines with 78.73% and third to Singapore Airlines with 78.47%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Safair was first with 93.49%, Oman Air second with 89.26% and Saudia third with 84.60%.
